We collect only what you give us and what any web server records: the contents of error reports and feedback you submit, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and debugging. We use a session cookie to make forms work; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Contractor names, license numbers, business addresses, and license statuses displayed on this site come from public government records published by North Carolina licensing boards and the Secretary of State. If you are a listed contractor and believe information about you is inaccurate, use the Report Issue button on your profile.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share report submissions with the contractors they concern. We do not send marketing email (we don't even collect your email yet).
Reports and feedback are kept as long as needed to maintain data quality. Server logs rotate on a standard schedule. Questions about this policy can be sent through the feedback page.
